Day 8! [Monday 12/15/08 - 11:19pm] [ mood | tired ] YAY! I made it to the end. Posting 8 days in a row is a pain yo! lol. But, it was really fun to do this meme, and I felt happy every night before going to bed thinking about the good things that happened to me. ^__^ un~~ i'm so lazy today. lol. haven't been getting much sleep since my exam is in 2 days. gambarimasu! o(^_^)o   The rules are that for 8 days you have to post something that made you happy that day. Tag 8 people to do the same. - Great news from Thailand! Finally! Thailand has a new Prime Minister. I'm all for him because he's from the opposing side of Thaksin. I now feel more optimistic about the future of Thailand. I just hope nothing goes wrong. ^^; - My mom called to check to make sure I'm studying wish me luck on my exam. XD - Watched Heyx3 today. omg Sho! The message demonstration was pure crack! XD I'd read about it, but never knew about the...flipping part. It was soooo good! ^_^ - Took the last Himitsu clip (with the t-shirts) to show my co-workers and they liked it too. We were busy at the restaurant today, meaning more money to help pay the bills. ^^ We've been slow lately because of the economy, so today was like a breath of fresh air. I should have put this with yesterday's but I forgot. Last night was the closest that the moon was going to be to earth for the entire year. Kakushi Toride dvd comes out today. I wonder when we will get subs? Will try to sit and wait patiently. XD My dvd is being sent together with the Hana Yori Dango final dvd, so I probably won't get it until the end of the month. :P Saw the Uta no Oniisan CM. omg Ohno is so adorable! <333 I'm super excited for this drama! There have been so many subbed Arashi clips lately, I feel extremely spoiled. XDD arashi will sing the theme song for sho's movie Yattaman. it's called Believe. i can't wait for the pre-order! arashi's singles were #1 and 2 on the yearly oricon ranking! it's really amazing, because only 4 other groups in japan's history have had this award. truth/kaze no mukou e was 1st, and one love was 2nd. so proud of them! aiba-chan will be doing cms for house vermont curry. that, and tsd will provide my aiba fix. Tag 8 people to do the same. In continuance of yuckie-chan's evil plan, this is day 2. v(^_^)v - I changed my journal layout. It's got a bright and cheery feel and I love it! And it's blue and white, my favorite color combi. :) Also, I love the 5 icons in the sidebar. <3 - I bought new ink for the printer at my restaurant. I have to refill the ink and print the to go menus, and it's infuriating when the colors don't come out like how it's supposed to. Now the menus look nice again. ^^ - My best friend is done with school for this semester. That means she now has time to watch the Hana Yori Dango clips that I sent her. XD She said that she will watch seasons 1 and 2 before I visit during Christmas. By that time, the movie dvd will be out, so I can bring her the subbed version and we will watch it together. ^__^ - It raining. I love it when it rains! 24 hour TV [Sunday 08/31/08 - 12:09pm] [ mood | sleepy ] Arashi hosted 24 hours TV yesterday.  The time difference between US and Japan was too much for me, so I went to sleep normally the first night, and watched it as soon as I woke up. I went to work for a few hours. I stayed up until 8am Kentucky time. So, it was 22 hours TV for me. XD I posted some stuff in the middle of the night here: http://apple1881.vox.com/library/post/24-hours-is-a-long-time.html I woke up today at 11:30am. Only slept for 3.5 hours because I have to go to work. >_< I'm happy I was able to stay until the end. The exhaustion that I felt was not even close to what Arashi, or Edo Harumi (the marathon runner) felt, and I'm so proud of them for being able to achieve their goal. They raised 300 million yen, broke the record for most money raised for this show. (info credit to Jen at VOX) Nino's letter made me cry. Will wait for the translations since I only understood a little bit. Nothing left to say, but I LOVE ARASHI I'll follow them for life. | add reply

Jun-kun's Day [Saturday 08/30/08 - 12:22am] [ mood | energetic ] Happy Birthday Dear Matsujun!!! My bait, the one that introduced me to the group that turned my world upside down. My ichiban, from the very first day, to now, over 2 years later. I've wavered sometimes, but within a short time, I always come back to him. I can't imagine my life without Arashi, without Jun. Because of him, I've done things I never thought possible. I went to Japan for the first time in my life. It definately won't be the last. Being there for Arashi's concert was amazing! I've met some very nice fans that I hope we can be lifelong friends. All thanks to a pet named MOMO. ^___^ What better way to celebrate Jun's birthday than having all of Arashi members staying together for 24 hours straight? XD Ganbatte Jun-kun! 2 days [Wednesday 05/28/08 - 12:37am] [ mood | excited ] [ music | Arashi - Sakura Sake ]  I will be leaving for Japan in 2 days. URESHIIII!!!!!!! My flight is Thursday morning at 6am. I still can't believe that I'm actually going to Japan, much less to go see 2 shows of Arashi concert. XDDDDD Arashi, wait for me!!!!! I will be back on June 4th, so I will update you guys about my ventures when I get back ne. Kao-chan is packing now. She is leaving tomorrow to go to NYC, where her flight to Japan leaves. Pray for her, she will be on the bus all day long. >_< Hopefully her flight is late, or my flight is early, so we can land in Tokyo at the same time. It doesn't feel like only a month or so has gone by since she came to Kentucky. I mean, we see each other every day. lol. I'll miss her a lot, especially now that her room will be empty. :( Now I have no one to bother and talk to at 1am. lol We are gonna have SOOOO much fun in Japan!!! I'm also excited to finally meet Yuckie-chan. ^___^ I will cherish every moment in Japan, because I don't know when I will get this opportunity again. It's mostly thanks to Kao-chan ne, because she persuaded me to go with her. hehehe (changing topic now...) Aibakaland is having a contest to celebrate its 2 year anniversary. I'm submitting an uchiwa and a karaoke song. I might upload the song after the contest is over. ~_^ I figured that this was the best opportunity to make my very first (Arashi) uchiwa. I can enter the contest and also bring it to my very first Arashi concert. ^_____^ It took me forever to make, but I'm so happy at how it turned out. Here are pictures of it:   The purple side (Jun's color) says Nakimushi Team (Jun and Aiba-chan team from D no Arashi). They are my ichiban and niban, and I love my crybaby team. :D The other side is, of course, Arashi, with USA on the top. Even though my seat is so far away, I hope that somehow they are able to see my uchiwa and smile. ^_^ 2 Stars | add reply

Time con dvd YAY! [Wednesday 04/23/08 - 2:04am] [ mood | giggly ] [ music | Arashi - Love Situation ] My TIME con dvd finally came today (the day when everyone else gets their Dream-A-Live album). My album will probably be here next week. *curses slow mail* ANYWAY, at least it came. haha Kao-chan and I were wondering whose dvd will come first, hers or mine. XD The whole con was LOVE. Arashi is really a saikou group. Their energy, their friendship, their fanservice, their showmanship, is SAIKOU! I can't cap the dvd of my fave parts, because then I'd have to do it for the whole thing. ^_^ I just love seeing Jun smiling, winking, camwhoring his heart out. XD That's my boy! I'm so happy that they put the Fight Song from Yokohama Arena as the last clip of disc 2. It left such a great impression of the boys, laughing and playing around. The pairings! OMG Sakuraiba and Ohmiya during Fight Song was so cute!! Kao-chan and I were squealing when they 'attached' to each other. XDDD TIME is definately the best con dvd to date.
